Eversendai Engineering group has begun building a new fabricated steel plant in Sharjah to support its growing business in the region.

The new plant will have a minimum capacity of producing 30,000 MT of fabricated steel a year, and is expected to be up and running within the next six months.

“The group has invested US $ 5.3 Million in this plant” said managing director Mr. Datuk A.K. Nathan,.

Malaysia based Eversendai Engineering Group currently has $ 120 million of work ongoing in the region 65% of which is in Dubai and Qatar, including the $ 66 million Rose Tower in Dubai Festival City, as well as a $ 33 million contract at Qatar science and technology park.

The company has also recently picked up $ 58 million of contracts in West Asia and expects to secure up to $220 million in orders over the next two years.
